I have a problem with the "Bookmarks" tab. Before I reinstalled windows after a crash, I was able to tap the bookmarks tab to save a site go to choose a certain folder and place that certain site in a specific folder. Now it does not do that; when I tap choose it does nothing.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

What Choose... is supposed to do is open up the "tree" below the Folder line. There is a button on the right end of the line that also is supposed to open up the folder tree. Does that work any better? Does the dialog seem to be vertically compressed, or does it expand leaving the folder area blank?
