adblock plus and adblock plus pop-up addon block everything even when told not to
hi. adblock plus and adblock plus pop-up addon worked without a problem for a long time. suddenly they block everything even when i 'allow' and 'disable on this page' or 'disable on this website' and all kinds of other stuff. nothing i do will stop them from blocking everything. i can't share on any social websites like twitter, facebook, i can't do anything on ebay or carry out online orders at stores.

Try totally removing Add-Block and all its sibling programs. Restart Firefox, go to a 'safe' web site and see if there is a problem. Then put Add-Block back in ALONE. See if it works properly. If so load only one of its sibling programs and see if there a problem. Keep going until you find the problem, or all the programs are back. Good luck.
