I have been receiving messages from Firefox about updating to 10.02 and don't know, if this is a "phising" message or a real message from Firefox.
A couple of times in the last few days a window has opened telling me that Firefox wants me to download 10.02. I am unable to find where to do it on the Firefox website and think that the window that open might be "phishing" and it will put something else on my comptuer. Have had this problem with a window that opened re a "Windows Security" problem which was bogus and put "stuff" on my computer.

Firefox 10.0.2 is a security update for Firefox 10.0.1. You are using Firefox 9.0.1 (which is no longer updated or supported), so you have missed Firefox 10.0 and Firefox 10.0.1 versions.
You can update by doing one of the following:
- in Firefox, click Help > About Firefox > Check for Updates
- You can download the full installer, save it to your hard drive, close Firefox, run the installer
- Download current Firefox version (choose OS and language): https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
- See: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/Updating%20Firefox
