Hi. I have about 15 home pages set to open when I open Firefox. I read the news, catch up on a few sites and have various jobs and tasks to complete. But whenn I've don all that, and close down Firefox, each time I open Firefox again to search for something etc, all 15 of my startup pages open up and I have to manually close them all down.

On Windows 11, all I need to do it right click the firefox icon and select open new tab. This is great, it opens Firefox with just a single new tab open. But on my iMac, this option is missing.

How can I re-open firefox with just a blank tab - or even just one specific page like Google?

Thanks Dropa. It's set not Not open previous windows and tabs, and set to open my custom URLs. This is great when I first open Firefox, but when I close it down, and later want to open Firefox again, I need to know how to open it without opening my 15 custom URLs. On Windows PC it's easy, I just right click Firefox Icon and select open new tab. But on iMac this option is not there.

I've just worked out a workaround. I've used "save all open tabs" to save a bookmark folder called "Start" that contains all my 15 Home links. I've then changed Firefox to open only a single page on opening.

Now when I start up Firefox for the first time in the day, I can go to my "Start" folder in bookmarks and select "open all tabs". The rest of the time I can open Firefox to a single search page. It's not the answer, but it does acheive what I needed.
