Lost all my passwords, legacy Add-ons etc by updating to ver 67. "Old Firefox" nowhere on 'puter. How to uninstall and get old 57 or pre-67 back?
(continuing) .... I did in fact find a folder "Old Firefox Backup" in my personal folders, but it was last modified 14 months ago. So the article about deleting the newly installed FF 67 implies I need this "Old Firefox" folder to get my tabs and add-ons back. And this "Old Firefox" folder was supposed to be on my Dekstop as a result of the FF 67 installation.
How should I go about undoing this disastrous FF 67 upgrade, restore my tabs and add-ons, and then perhaps upgrade to FF 66.0.5 that runs great on my other laptop?
Shame on FF for such a terribly under-thought roll-out. This is not the first time. Thank you volunteers!

Are there other profiles listed on the about:profiles page?
Did you look in the default location for profiles if there are other profiles available?
You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page. Go up one level to the "Profiles" directory.
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\
Firefox profiles start with a random name (xxxxxxxx.default with possible other data appended like .default-release or a time stamp for profiles created due to a refresh).
- Help -> Troubleshooting Information -> Profile Directory:
Windows: Show Folder; Linux: Open Directory; Mac: Show in Finder - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox
Note: Some versions of Quantum change how the data files are set up, so they are not backward compatible.
