If you are referring to the quoted text in each email then that is part of the email. It is not a "thread" it is part of the individual email. From a legal perspective, if you are planning on using the emails as evidence of something then the entire body content of each email is the email, not only the "new" text. For this reason you will not find any of the email handling automated tools will do you any good as you are endeavoring to extract a small part of the text of the email, not all of it. Select an email and press print. what you get is the email, not some "thread".
