Ijust installed TB on windows 10. It is totally diff than on my vista laptop. I don't like the format. How do i get the older version?
The version I downloaded looks nothing like the version I have on my laptop which used vista os. It is unrecognizable to the earlier version, and I can't find a lot of the function buttons, such as "tool" etc. Can you help? PS I can't even find the print button to send you a screen print.

I hope you get this screenshot
I don't know why it happens, but you should have a toolbar, upon which there is a button that offers a menu. Since the menu is different to what you are familiar with, I don't think you'd like it very much.
So, let's try to restore the traditional menu.
Try a right-click in the area at the top, and you should be able to provoke a pop-up menu which offers toolbars. Or use F10 or alt then View|Toolbars and then tick the checkboxes to make the toolbars and the menu appear.
It should now feel a bit less unfamilar.
Over the years there have been changes such as the addition of tabs, and this has led to some argument over where menus, tabs and toolbars should appear.
IMHO, menus are universal and should appear outside tabs and menus. If a menu has items which are not relevant to appropriate to the current view then fair enough, the affected menu items can be disabled or greyed out.
Tabs present specific contexts based views, such as email vs calendar. As such, each could have its own custom toolbar, so I'm happy for toolbars to appear inside tabs. Some users seem to feel that the toolbar should be outside the tab. But what's the use of a Reply or Forward button in a tab showing the calendar?
There are (or have been) plans to put the composition window and the address book into tabs. I'm not sure if this is a good idea, since I may want to refer to an address book or calendar item whilst composing an email message, and tabs would make these mutually exclusive. The main impact of tabs at the present time is that if you like to double-check a message to "open" it, it will by default now open in a new tab and not its own window. You can change this behaviour under Tools|Options.
