I made the following search from Google myydään pentax p30n https://www.google.fi/search?q=myyd%C3%A4%C3%A4n+pentax+p30n&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:sv-SE:official&client=firefox-a&channel=np&source=hp&gws_rd=cr&ei=uR_qUqL3IIOk4gTgl4G4Bw&safe=high When I click the third link, pentax p30n säljes - AllaAnnonser www.allaannonser.se/pentax-p30n.html It shows up correctly for a second or max two (http://www.allaannonser.se/pentax-p30n.html) After that it is automatically forwarded to the following link, which shows up an empty page: http://www.google.com/uds/afs?q=pentax%20p30n&client=pub-8323261279972034&channel=3551045333%2B0728163553%2B2400667942%2B3181216231%2B2400667942&hl=sv&oe=utf-8&ie=utf-8&r=m&adpage=1&fexp=21404&format=n3&ad=n3&nocache=1221391101189295&num=0&output=uds_ads_only&v=3&allwcallad=1&adext=sr1%2Cctc1&u_his=15&u_tz=120&dt=1391101189297&u_w=1280&u_h=800&biw=1220&bih=655&psw=1220&psh=655&frm=0&ui=uv3slaf2wi682ff1st14sd12sv12sRcC-&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.allaannonser.se%2Fpentax-p30n.html&referer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.fi%2Furl%3Fsa%3Dt%26rct%3Dj%26q%3D%26esrc%3Ds%26source%3Dweb%26cd%3D3%26ved%3D0CEEQFjAC%26url%3Dhttp%253A%252F%252Fwww.allaannonser.se%252Fpentax-p30n.html%26ei%3Duh_qUqk4yoXgBJi0geAG%26usg%3DAFQjCNF1BTttAxG1crUz-KNL4XexXnCgSQ%26bvm%3Dbv.60444564%2Cd.bGE#master-1&safe=high I can go back in the history to the real page that I searched for, but it redirects again to the empty page.

Chosen solution

Google passes such a link through its Safe browsing check and modifies the link to achieve this.

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

  • Is this only happening in Firefox?
  • Have you tried other browsers?

Yes, I have tried. That did not solve my problem if I am still going to use Firefox - which I would like to because of its extensions. But as a workaround I can of course switch to other browser when this happens - the link that I mentioned is not the only one, it happens now and then but not always. With Chrome it goes to www.allaannonser.se/pentax-p30n.html and stays there without the strange rediectionWith Safari, this link does not show up in the searches at all but if I paste www.allaannonser.se/pentax-p30n.html to the URL field, it is NOT redirected as in Firefox. Note that the redirection happens in Firefox also if I just paste the link to the URL field.

Firefox seems to have some strange problems with referrers. Which rarely can possibly make a real trouble, but this may interfere with any "too smart for its own good" site.

Try some redirect-removing addons.
