i restored my computer, its a windows based laptop, and i forgot to backup my bookmarks and import them. my question is, is there a way that i can get them back. i have the original mozilla folder that goes into the c drive and all of its contents.

thanks for replying! i looked at the first article and it mentions that bookmarks are in the places.sqlite file. now where would this file be? i looked through the mozilla firefox folder and i dont see it in there. thanks again!

Easiest to go to the Firefox Profile Folder is via this button.

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder

The "Application Data" folder in XP/Win2K and the "AppData" folder in Vista/Windows 7 are hidden folders.
