I AM TOTALLY DISGUSTED WITH THIS SITE. SOMEHOW MOZILLA FIREFOX INSTALLED ON MY COMPUTER AND IT HAS BEEN DISASTER EVER SINCE. SOMETHING CALLED "INBOX" INSTALLED WITH YOUR PROGRAM, AND I DO NOT WANT THAT EITHER. WHENEVER I ATTEMPT TO ACCESS INTERNET EXPLORER THIS "INBOX" POPS UP INSTEAD. HOW DO I GET RID OF "INBOX" COMPLETELY AND HOW DO I GET INTERNET EXPLORER BACK? THE GEEK SQUAD WILL UNINSTALL IT FOR A HIGH PRICE BUT SINCE I DID NOT ORDER IT IN THE FIRST PLACE, I WOULD LIKE IT REMOVED ASAP. I HAVE REPORTED THIS INCIDENT TO MICROSOFT.

Firefox doesn't come bundled with any bona fide app, so if you have it on your system, you installed it as part of an unauthorised package.

As with all unwanted programs, Windows 7 comes with an uninstall feature which you'll find in Control Panel. Look for Mozilla Firefox in the uninstall list. See http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Uninstall-or-change-a-program

"Inbox.com" suddenly appeared out of nowhere on my wife's new Dell (Windows 7) desktop whenever accessing Firefox. Nothing has been recently loaded. Spyware & virus scans find nothing. "Inbox" does not show up on my programs, so deleting this way is impossible. Searching for it on the computer finds nothing. It appears it is being piggybacked on Firefox, because Firefox comes up and continues to be listed "under" the Inbox page, which is shown immediately after Firefox is selected.

During this same time, this desktop has started locking up several times a day... sometimes requiring 2 or 3 restarts in a row to get it to function.

If Firefox has an answer to this, I haven't been able to find it! I will delete Firefox and check back in a few weeks to see if it's been fixed. Frustrating to say the least. (As usual, Microsoft is of no help).

So far, nothing from mozilla but the citing of other people who can't get rid of INbox. Sorry to say, Mozilla is helpless in finding a solution. Best bet is to dump firefox and use another browser.

I have the same problem with Inbox. I have tried everything I know to remove it, but nothing works. Even removed Firefox and reloaded. If Mozilla doesn't come out with a fix soon I will be moving to IE.
