I know that the newest version of firefox came out on September 7th. I was able to update my desktop on the 8th using the "Help > Check for Updates" method. But when I tried to update my laptop from 3.6.8 to 3.6.9 using the "Help > Check for Updates" method it would say that there are no updates available. Even when I asked my friend to try to update his firefox on the 12th using the "Help > Check for Updates" method, he said that there was no update and he told me he was running version 3.6.8.

My laptop uses Window Vista Home Edition. My desktop and my friends desktop both use Windows XP.

The option to update to 3.6.9 using "check for updates" has been turned off whilst Mozilla investigate a start-up crash issue.
