I'm new to this Thunderbird thing. Is there a setting that allows me to exclude all this? I cannot recognize any kind of setting in "Settings" or "Account Settings" that allows me to control this issue. Best regards, Rudi Abel

Set View/Headers to Normal. Press Alt if the Menu Bar with View is hidden.
