Sending email
I obtain my Internet service from CenturyLink.
I have been using for many years Mozilla Thunderbird for my email.
Recently, the following message has started popping up after I compose an email in Thunderbird and hit the Send button:
"An error occurred while sending mail: The mail server sent an incorrect greeting: 5.7.1 [C1 RBL restriction: Blacklisted by Internal Reputation Service - 23.83.131.210."
I reinstalled Thunderbird as a possible remedy. The problem persists.
Please help.
Chosen solution
the message is saying the ip address 23.83.131.210. is blacklisted for sending spam.
That address appears to be registered to Leaseweb USA in Phoenix. So I assume you are getting internet services of some sort from them and their address is blacklisted. I suggest you talk to them.
