I accidently removed an email account from my Thunderbird. I did not remove or delete the data / messages. How can I restore back this email account ? My email is [email protected] (this is not the removed account)

Was it a POP mail account ? If yes: Create the Pop mail account again New > Exisitng mail account Enter details and click on Continue Make sure it is selected as a POP account and not IMAP.

Once it is created you need to point the new pop mail account to look to the old pop mail account. In 'Account Settings' > 'Server Settings' for the new pop mail account Bottom right you will see 'Local directory:' it is currently pointing to where the new pop account is located. Click on 'Browse' It will open showing current contents of new pop account. Go up the directory to the 'Mail' folder The new pop mail account is likely to have the same name as the original one but it will have a number appended to the name. Select the original 'pop' mail account name folder click on 'Select folder'

this should point to all the old pop account folders.
