The latest Thunderbird update has removed 95% of my effectiveness and efficiency, with a cumbersome unresponsive and opaque 2 dimensional interface. How can I uninstall the latest update? and revert to a software I was very pleased and delighted to visit?!

If you install an older version such as 60.9.1 and want to run it on a profile that has been accessed by 68, you will have to launch it from the command line with the --allow-downgrade argument. Otherwise, launch with the -p argument for Profile Manager and create a new profile. Data from the old profile can be copied to the new one. Disable auto-update.

TB 68 doesn't make it easy to downgrade, by 'design', so you may find it's less trouble to address your issues with 68.

I'm new to Mac, and find 68 to be quite good.
