All my addons are disabled after briefly switching to older Firefox version

Hey There, I'm running firefox 70, but because I am a web developer and was troubleshooting someone who was running an old version (40), I briefly opened that version. Now when I open up my regular firefox 70 again, all my extensions are disabled.

The problem is, I don't see any way of enabling those extensions again, there is no option for that anywhere. Installing one of them again seems to have fixed it, but I'd rather not do that for each of them (there are a lot of them, and I'm afraid to lose data)

Is there a way to enable those addons again?

I restored my entire profile folder from an older backup, which seems to have worked as expected. Still, not really a proper solution.
