Email can only be deleted by drag/drop to Trash, Folder can't be deleted

After a reinstall of my OS (Ubuntu), I can no more delete message with the «Del» key or with a right click/suppr. The only way is to drag and drop them to the Trash folder. I have many Pop accounts, and I use a global inbox, and many folders in the local folder to manage all the email, whatever accounts they come from. (see the attached screen copy of my config) Concerning the folders, I can not delete them. Even when I drag them to the Trash folder, they stay there as subfolders...

Hello Matt, thanks for your help. I started Tb in safe mode, as you proposed, and the problem was still here. But it seems that after restarting it in «normal» mode, the problem was solved. Really strange, but I'm really happy ! Thanks a lot.

tried restarting Thunderbird? Restarting in safe mode (with addons disabled) from the help menu?

Hello Matt, thanks for your help. I started Tb in safe mode, as you proposed, and the problem was still here. But it seems that after restarting it in «normal» mode, the problem was solved. Really strange, but I'm really happy ! Thanks a lot.
