I've already setup a "synch" to that I would be able to have all of my bookmarks available on my new computer. I have logged in and still do not see them?

Hi , I understand that some bookmarks from another computer are not showing up on another computer connected to your sync account. I am happy to help.

Please first check this:

  1. Are both devices still actively syncing?
  2. if you search for a particular bookmarks, do they show up in the bookmark toolbar?
    • How do I turn on sync logs:
  3. Open about:config and turn on: services.sync.log.appender.file.logOnSuccess and services.sync.log.logger.engine.bookmarks
  4. Restart Firefox and look at: about:sync-log
  5. Logs and error messages will be located here

Please also use pastebin.mozilla.org for sharring any errors that relate to this issue.

Thank you.

You can reset those two prefs (or at least logOnSuccess) to the default value after you are done testing to avoid creating a lot of unnecessary log files.

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file (bookmarks, history) in the Firefox profile folder.
