Since upgrading to firefox 36, my speed dial page no longer is visible, although it still seems to be there.
I use my speed dial page as my home page. Up to last week, when I was using ff 35, I had no problems. The page opened, the tabs or tiles were visible, and I could use Alt+number to open a page if I preferred. Since the ff 36 upgrade, however, when I open ff, there is nothing visible. It appears to be a blank page. However, the speed dial page is stil l listed as my home page in options, and, curiously, I can still use alt+number to go to those pages. I suppose I could learn to live with this, but what if I want to edit one of these pages? I no longer seem to have access to them. when I click on the blank page, nothing happens. Same for right-clicking. Also, I have a second speeed dial page, and although I figured out a way to access those pages, I can no longer open that entire speed dial page, since I had to go through the first, or home, speed dial page. I should mentiion that I am blind, so I don't like to try to change themes, etc. if I don't have to. Please let me know the solution. Like I said, I am working around it now.

Hi, try this: Type about:config into the address bar, press Enter, accept the warning, scroll down to browser.newtab.url and make sure 'Value' is set to about:newtab (right click to change it). (Take care not to change anything else).
Also make sure in Options that 'When Firefox starts' is set to 'Show my home page.'
I hope that will work for you.
Well, both of those settings were already as you suggested. Remember, the problem is not that the page is not there, but instead, it is not visible. I know, sounds crazy.
