Hello,

This is in relation to my posting a couple of days ago. I successfully moved my abook.mab from my external hard drive 'old Thunderbird' to my 'new Thunderbird'. I also moved history.mab but am not sure what it is so I do not know how to test it. Now I am trying to locate and move all of my folders from the old to the new. I have several dozen folders which are subfolders of the main email folders such as - my family - is a sub folder of [email protected]. Can someone tell me where to find these subfolders and what they are called? I am able to get to the xxxxxxxxdefault in the profiles but do not know how to locate the folders and their subfolders.

Thanks

I think I may have figured it out.

Why not move the whole profile en masse?

BTW, history.mab provides the Collected Addresses address book.

That would have been nice to figure the en masse route but at this point I am happy to be just moving one sub directory folder at a time.

OK, but for future reference:

Ha Ha thanks for the link. I actually studied that link and just ended up doing it the slow way. I have been trying to move this data since Thursday and just happy to be wrapping it up. The good news is that I will know what to do next time plus I will probably try some of the add-ons. Which are your favorite add-ons?

Thanks again.
