Drupal 7 and Blogger aren't working properly on Firefox but are on IE; problems are quite specific; new problem.

New problems on both Drupal 7 and Blogger that are okay on IE. In Blogger, if I try to respond to a comment, I get a new window in the comment window that contains another iteration of my Blogger template that I can't use. In Drupal 7 there are at least two modules that are not working properly: the CKEditor GUI interface doesn't work and the Module Filter doesn't work properly. There are no error messages, and both modules work properly on IE and Chrome. There is nothing on the web that suggests either of these websites is having such problems. Thanks for any help. Hi david.hilfiker, Thank you for your question, I understand that this is happening on two sites. If this is not happening on other people's computers please try a Firefox Reset. The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: This will cause you to lose any Extensions and some Preferences.

  • Open websites will not be saved in Firefox versions lower than 25.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

For Firefox versions previous to 29.0:

  1. Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
  2. Click the "Reset Firefox"Button reset button.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

For Firefox 29.0 and above:

  1. Click the menu button New Fx Menu, click help Help-29 and select Troubleshooting Information. Now, a new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
  2. At the top right corner of the page, you should see a button that says "Reset Firefox"Button reset. Click on it.
  3. Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
  4. Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

Further information can be found in the Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings article.

Thank you very much for your response. Since I had already uninstalled and reinstalled a fresh version of Firefox, I didn’t expect that resetting Firefox would solve the problem, but it did. Thanks very much for your help. I especially appreciate your volunteering for the support forum. The Mozilla, open-source community is quite wonderful.
