Google spreadsheet scrolling issue

more options

Since updating to Firefox 27 scrolling across a Google spreadsheat has become a pain, responding fine if I hover over the up/down bar on the right, but on anywhere on the document itself. Worked fine in Firefox 26. Any way to resolve this (I'm on Mac OS X Mavericks 10.9.1)?

Thanks

Sorry, I meant "not anywhere on the document itself."

This relates to two-finger scrolling on a trackpad.

Thanks

On Mac the scroll bars can be hidden and only have them show when you scroll the page so you can see the current scroll position.

The idea is that a touch pad is used that doesn't require the scroll bars to be visible and thus have more screen estate for the browsing area.

You can make the scroll bars always visible:

System Preferences > General > Show Scroll Bar > Choose "Always"

I can confirm this issue. Scroll bar visibility is not the problem.

I can also confirm this issue in Google Spreadsheets. It seems to require a strong/fast scroll/flick on my MacBook Air trackpad in order to scroll. However, by doing that it scrolls much further than I want it to.

My system specs:

  • MacBook Air (2013)
  • Mac OS X 10.8.5
  • Firefox 27.0.1
