Since this morning (23 october), Firefox crashes on startup. It also crashes in safe mode. After resetting, Firefox started once. At next startup, Firefox crashed again, and the same problem reapppeared.

I have several submitted crash reports, and I add the 5 latest ID:s here:

As I can't start Firefox, I am unable to aquire the troubleshooting info in the box below.

I am grateful for any help.

Chosen solution

hello daniel, there seems to be library named SPVC32.dll on your computer involved in these crashes. a googles earch reveals that this may be part of "Conduit Search Protect", which might be considered adware or malware.

please go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software that you have in place and different other tools like the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.

Thank you, Philipp!

After uninstalling the Conduit Search Protect application, Firefox works again.
