Some websites show black screen when I tried to open them. On the top of the tab it was written GIF Image(1 "cross sign" 1 pixels) . The page contain only a very very small dot at the center and everything is black. This thing happens for a couple of websites. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit .

When Firefox displays an image file, such as 1-pixel GIF file (often used for tracking), it display the image on a dark background. Does the URL you're visiting end with an image extension (or have an image extension followed by a question mark and then various parameters)? If not, a script on the site may be serving you an image instead of a web page for some reason.

Hi jroot2187, cor-el's post seems to show where to turn it off in the menus in Kaspersky. Can you find it there?
