numbers entered instead of letters in LA Times Crossword Puzzle.
When I try to do the LA Times Crossword Puzzle on line, as I enter the letters, numbers show up in the grid. I am definitely pressing letter keys.
I have no difficulty with IE but have the same problem in Chrome.
Any help would be appreciated.

Modified
I'm trying to follow your instructions but am confused as to how to update my plug-ins. The following Google Update Windows Live Photo Gallery MS Office 2010 Picasa iTunes Appln Detector are all listed as "Unknow Plug-ins with a grey research button. When I click on it it takes me to a search page with a bunch of links that I'm not sure are relevant.
Anyway, if you could help again, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Arnie Morris
If they are GREYED then they are Disabled. Move on to the next steps.
Thanks. I appreciate your help. Problem appears to be Comcast Constant Guard which I inadvertently downloaded. I removed it. Problem solved. Thanks for all your help!!
