When I done printing an article, how do I get back to page before? The arrow won't let me.

I have an article I want to print, so I click on the word print. It shows page the page I want to print and I click on print and it prints the page or pages. Now I would like to go back to the original page. The arrow in the left corner is a dull color and will not return me. If I hit the red x it closes not only one page but everything. How do I get back to the original page without starting all over?

Usually when a site displays a print-formatted page, it opens in a new window or a new tab. If it's a new tab, you can close just that tab to return to the earlier page.

If that doesn't apply, can you give an example of a page where this problem occurs? Maybe they are doing something unusual.

I was printing an article just now on Osteoporosis from www.goodhousekeeping.com. You click print and a page comes up which you print and there is no way to go back one page.

Yes, the print view on that site displays either a new window or a new tab, depending on your preference. So you should be able to close that new window or new tab by pressing Ctrl+w and then the original article should come to the front. Does that work for you?
