Firefox 3.6.13 is unstable. How do I go back?
Multiple problems with Firefox 3.6.13. Firefox periodically crashes when shutting down. The 1Password extension on the Navigation Toolbar disappears on startup. The View, Windows and Help menus are greyed out on some windows. Firefox 3.6.13 is not sufficiently stable on Macs running Snow Leopard.
How the devil do I go back to a stable version of Firefox?

I'm also having lots of stability problems with 3.6.13 on Windows 7 Pro 64.
Tabs become unresponsive frequently. Ctrl+Shift+Tab used to select the previous tab, now it only does that about half the time. The rest of the time it shows a screen with all of the tabs laid out, and I have to select the tab with the mouse. Alt+D doesn't always select the address bar. The first tab often becomes totally unresponsive, and will not close or allow me to switch to it until I completely close Firefox.
Exactly the same problem that I have been having.
Got Windows 7 Premium 64 bit with MSE AV. There is no pattern I can see that is causing it. Sometimes nothing will happen for a couple of days and then I will get three or four crashes in a day. I've been using FF for years and never had anything like this before.
Gone over to Chrome for the time being....
There are several errors this release of Firefox repeats. Changes to the main toolbar are erratically retained between launches. When I reset the toolbar the changes are sometimes reflected in other Firefox windows, sometimes not. But consistently, the window I use to reset the toolbar always is not available to return to from the Windows menu. The command is there, but isn't responsive. Also the Help menu on that particular window has all items greyed out. Periodically Firefox also spontaneously crashes. Not frequent but it does happen.
With all these problems for both PC and Mac users you'd think there would be some kind of response from those taking responsibility for Firefox code. But there's silence, total silence.
I'm migrating back to Safari. I became quite comfortable with the previous release of Firefox, but the development team doesn't appear to be paying attention. Thus my exit.
With kind regards,
Strange software Firefox has for feedback. There have been several others commenting on this thread but now they are missing.
It is not just an inconvenience. I can't get to critical websites without 1Password, which i can't get to work with this new edition. I have installed it many times and the nav bar is not there.
How can I go back to the previous version? It was working fine for me.
