Firefox still won't play the videos on MSN websites. All other websites are ok. This is a known problem that goes back almost ten years now.

All cookies and other cache items have been cleared and Firefox has been refreshed and it still does the same exact thing only on MSN websites. All other websites are ok and all other browsers except Firefox have no issues playing videos on MSN.

The above MSN website you provided me works fine playing videos. It is the MSN pages like I am providing you the link for below that have the video embedded in the webpage that always have the same exact problem playing the videos the videos in the middle of the page that always do the exact same thing as I am providing you the screenshot for where the video just sits there and plays the spinning circle wheel but nothing else.

It plays for me in Win 7. Have you tried in Safe Mode to verify that an add-on is not causing the issue?

I am in troubleshoot mode right now and it is still doing the same exact thing on that website, so who knows. I came here to try and get it figured out because I use FireFox and MSN for everything and don't want to change to another browser or news service instead.

So troubleshoot mode or Safe Mode as you put it doesn't fix it and neither did refreshing FireFox when I did it last week. My computer is old, like 2010, so maybe that is what is causing it, I don't know, because I saw another thread from somebody on the internet that was having the same exact problem I am having with their FireFox way back in 2012, so that is why I wrote above that it is a known issue.

Thanks for your help, but the same problem is still there in my FireFox unfortunately.
