Changing the file chooser on Linux to something more useable

more options

Hello there! Recently I switched my family to Linux like I had a while back and there was a complaint about the file chooser (GTK) that Firefox on Linux uses, and after a decent amount of searching we were unable to find a way to change it. It is a nice file chooser but it is lacking an option to have a thumbnail view instead of just a list view which makes some of my family's browsing harder than normal (picking images for things like Ebay).

I was curious if there was a way to change the view of the file chooser, or replace the file chooser with the native file manager (Nemo in this case).

Thank you for your time :) -Cody

Attached is an example of the problem. (Icons too small to see)
