So was this by email or how did you get it? And if you didn't request this report or such that would be suspect already.

Mozilla website usually check your location via a geolocation or IP check.

Is your location reported correctly?

Hello Arnedanc,

I have forwarded this to an Administrator - fingers crossed that you will hear from them .....

Hi Arnedanc

I filed a github issue for this to report it to the team:

Arnedanc,

We're going to investigate this issue in the Monitor code-base. When did you sign up for Firefox Monitor? Was it before or after October 1?

Since October 1, Monitor checks your browser's language settings when you sign-up, and stores that setting for your email notifications. Is there any chance your browser had "Russian" in its language settings?

November 16. I got a report already on that date in the correct language. Never used Russian in my language settings, only Swedish and English.

Oh, so you got 2 reports? 1 in Swedish (or English), and 1 in Russian?

more options

You can say that, but the first was sent to me already the same day that I signed up, the second (in Russian) came 8 days later.

I don't know what to expect for reports from the Firefox monitor and how often I should expect to get one.

You'll receive:

1. An email to verify your subscription 2. An email with your full breach report 3. Future emails anytime you appear in a future breach

OK.

I got the to first in Swedish, the third 8 days after the sign-up, was the one in Russian. However it did not report any breaches according to the Google translate I did. I could forward the Russian one to someone if there is an interest of that.
