Why cant I log into Firefox support forums using my sync account?
Okay, I think I might just answer my own question here. But here goes nuthin.
So I created a sync account, expecting that this would allow me into the support forums. When I created my account I used a password that did not contain numbers, but "special" characters instead. When I attempted to access the support forums, I was rejected even after I had my account email verified as well as reset my sync password locally. This was absolutely maddening that I could not get into the forums.
So now that I found the "Ask a question" section of Mozilla Support forums, I was forced to create a support account. When I created this account it forced me to use a password using at least 1 number. Why are the sync and support accounts not one in the same? Why do the two account creation sites have different requirements for account creation as it relates to password complexity?

Thanks Ed. That makes sense. I suspected as much.
