sort of odd request - I am trying to set up a new medical devise that requires that I use Firefox 43 or 44. I am using 45. Is there a way that I can downgrade
I need to downgrade to Firefox 43 or 44 in order to set up a new medical device that I have purchased. The environment that the device need to be programmed on my MAC is IOS 10.11 with Firefox 43 or 44. I am using Firefox 45. Can I down grade to 44 so that I can program this device?
Thanks

Installing multiple versions on Mac OS X is basically dragging the Firefox application out of the DMG file to the desktop and rename the folder. You can drag the renamed Firefox application folder to the Applications folder like you would normally install Firefox.
You need to use the terminal to create a new profile for that version. Make sure that no profile is selected as the default to make the Profile Manager show when you start Firefox. You can check that in the profiles.ini file.

Probably you can use an older version of Firefox without losing your current data; I'm not very familiar with how you might do that on Mac.
Is there possibly an update for your device? It seems very strange that they would limit you to those versions of Firefox because Firefox updates about every 6 weeks.
Alternately, can you program it using Safari so you don't have to disturb your Firefox installation?

Great - I was able to download an older version of Firefox!
There is not yet an update on the device as it is brand new and still in development. I spoke with their support people and they were able to help me with getting the older version of Firefox.
Thanks Folks!
