You have the Flash plugin installed so try disabling Shumway in your Firefox Add-ons Extensions list - see Disable or remove Add-ons .

Also make sure that the "Shockwave Flash" plugin is enabled (set to "Always Activate") in the Add-ons Plugins list.

See Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems for other solutions.

GreyDragon, any luck getting this fixed?

In addition to disabling your Shumway extension, did you try any of the other solutions in the Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems article?

Please post back if you still need help and tell us exactly what you meant by "flash player has not worked in Firefox". Is the Flash plugin crashing or hanging? Is the video or audio distorted?

No this did not solve the problem. I had Shumway installed only long enough to find that it didn't work. I followed all the other options I could find on the web to resolve this. I even uninstalled flash and downgraded to another version that was older. It didn't work and then I upgraded to the newest version and it didn't work. I am at a loss for this.

I'm sorry none of the solutions in the Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems article helped you.

I ended up reverting my PC back to windows 7 again and everything started working again. You might want to look into the windows 10 issue as the reverting will not always be an option. If the customer base is removed I am pretty sure the business model doesn't work any more. (joke) No viable solution.
