This problem is for the Android version of Firefox. Unfortunately the above instructions don't work for this version - at least I cannot see any content tab from the settings option

Hi kfbnlet

There are no Pop-up Blocker Options in Firefox for Android. However, if you wish to disable Pop-ups, you can follow these instructions:

Type about:config in the address bar
Search dom.disable_open_during_load and set it to false

To re-enable the Pop-up blocker, set dom.disable_open_during_load to true

I hope you find this information useful. Please let us know if you have any other questions about Firefox for Android.

Thanks,
