FF 10.0.2 instable , freezes tabs in FB (can't be closed) , sometimes crashes and need to kill process

more options

Since updating to FF 10.0.2 I am having problems. Sometimes in Facebook the tabs freeze so I can't close them , move them , but the other ones work fine. Also it crashes without 'send error' and remains in background so I need to kill process to start a fresh session. Sometimes sessions are not saved and I noticed randomly the bookmarks don't get saved. Also I noticed from time to time it starts opening webpages VERY slow (like 15s per page) although internet is fine.

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
