After upgrading to Firefox 10.0, the hyperlinks on many web pages do not work.

I click on a hyperlink on the Kaiser Permanente website or the ADP Resource websire and nothing happens. On the Humana Dental website, the hyperlinks work, but the page is totally messed up. The Yahoo home page is a mess as well

Everything worked fine in 5.5 and still works fine in I.E.

Can you attach a screenshot?

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).


Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
