When I open a new tab, Bling is the search tool that always comes up on the new tab. I do not like Bling, and do not want this. Is there a way to keep Bling off the new tab.

"Bing" a search provided by Microsoft, was inadvertently installed on Firefox user machines by a Microsoft update that incorrectly updated people not using Bing.

Bring up the Control Panel, under Programs and Features, uninstall the Bing Bar

in case StartNow is not removed

Remove "Start Now" extension which puts Bing search into a new tab,
Tools > add-ons > Extensions or "Ctrl+Shift+A" > Extensions

then uninstall "StartNow" and restart Firefox. may be found in c:\program files (x86)\StartNow -- use the uninstaller in the StartNow folder.

Is "Bling" a play on words because if it is it only serves to confuse your question, and obfuscate any help that might be obtained by other users. So am considering that you mean Microsoft's "Bing" search engine and answered accordingly. If it is "Bling" please provide the url of the page so we might have a clue as to what company is causing the problem and work toward a solution. If it is "Bing" please correct your original question.
