Since the new version of Tbird, when I drag a message down along the folders along the side, the folders expand almost immediately. It used to be that I could drag along the left column to folders below the current window without expanding everything along the way. Is there a way to slow down the response rate of the folder so that it only expands after a couple of seconds or so?

What pointing hardware and OS is being used? What happens with Help > Troubleshoot Mode?

Hi, Wayne.

Pointing h/w: Kensington Orbit Trackball OS: Win 10 Home

It does go away in troubleshoot mode, requires a click to expand.

I would've thought T'Bird should be using the mouse-hover-time as defined in the Registry/ControlPanel/Mouse. It isn't. Default is 400ms; I changed it to 1000ms. It made no difference - it's simply being ignored. Interestingly, upon first opening of T'Bird, the first 'attempt' at hovering doesn't work at all. After first 'manual' expansion, it then is greased-lightening again, faster than my ageing reaction time. It has to be a newly-introduced bug.

(Agree, in Trouble-shoot mode, there is no hover-and-expand function.)

Thanks for the confirmation, howardg. Is there a way to convert a support ticket into a bug?
