Bookmark Manager crashes every time I try to search
I am trying to search for a specific bookmark, but am not allowed to because the Firefox browser always crashes, whenever I attempt to search in the Bookmark Manager for it.... I am unfortunately losing my enthusiasm for Firefox as a browser, as they seem to keep getting more and more unreliable. It has been my browser of choice for several years, but with each new version, it gets less and less trustworthy, and I am confused by this. What, now I cannot even search for a bookmark, without it crashing to desktop??

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing. In order to assist you better, please follow the steps below to provide us crash IDs to help us learn more about your crash.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
- Enter about:crashes in the Firefox address bar and press Enter. A list of Submitted/Unsubmitted Crash Reports will appear, similar to the one shown below.
- Copy the 5 most recent Submitted Report IDs that start with bp- and then go back to your forum question and paste those IDs into the "Post a Reply" box.
Note: If a recent Report ID does not start with bp- click on it to submit the report.
(Please don't take a screenshot of your crashes, just copy and paste the IDs. The below image is just an example of what your Firefox screen should look like.)
Thank you for your help!
More information and further troubleshooting steps can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) article.
After reading your answer, I attempted to open 'about:crashes' in Firefox, but there was nothing there....
'No crash reports have been submitted.'
I had tried that before posting my question and got the same thing. I do not think the browser itself was actually what was crashing, I think it was the 'Bookmark Manager' causing the problem. I say this because when this would happen, and then I would re-open Firefox, it would open back up all the tabs I had open before it failed as if it was holding my place or something. In any case, I have switched to Chrome as my browser now, and will keep Mozilla as a memory, but still THANK YOU!!
