Youtube search bar issues
All of a sudden, whenever I try to type something into the Youtube search bar, I'm unable to input spaces. I've tried different tabs, a different window, clearing the cache. It works fine on Chrome but for some reason it just stopped working for Firefox. Any ideas?

Hi
Thank you for your question.
Our developers are looking into this and we hope to come back to you soon with an update.
Yes, Reddit also is flooded with posts on this problem and various shortcut dysfunctions on YouTube this morning. (for example)
Sound that the script that is used doesn't check whether the video has focus or at least disables the space bar play/pause action if an input field has focus.
A possible workaround for now is to place a space on the clipboard (i.e. type a space and select it and copy the space to the clipboard) and paste this space if necessary. You can possibly use the location bar to get the space on the clipboard.
It reacts not only to the spacebar, it reacts to all hotkeys: F, E, M, etc. And only in FireFox. This problem is not observed in other browsers.

Looks like YouTube has fixed this issue as I'm no longer seeing it. You may have to reload and bypass the cache.
