Since updating to FF57, have been experiencing noted problem, along with program freezes and very poor performance on Yahoo News and derivative links. Problem also seems present if I do search from Yahoo. Using Yahoo News as my default (home) page. Other sites seem OK, provided I don't use Yahoo to access them.

Also using Yahoo Mail; same problems. Tried disabling all FF plugins, w/o effect. Uninstalled FF57, reinstalled in safe mode; seemed to help a little at first, but problems returned — mebby fewer crashes.

Not in Yahoo now; showing 5 FF in Task Mgr, with minimal (10% +-) CPU demand & about 710 Mb RAM commitment. Nothing else actively running.

It may be worth noting that I experienced some memory-leak problems on FF53 recently (last 2-3 months), but no actual crashes, so far as I recall.

Will try to read/respond to email @ Dragon_fawn@Yahoo,com

Have you tried deleting your Firefox Cache and the Yahoo cookies? Might fix the problem. Instructions here:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/delete-cookies-remove-info-websites-stored

If it doesn't help, try refreshing Firefox:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-settings

If that doesn't help either (you could test if it works fine in Firefox Safe mode: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode ) then you should create a detailed bug report using this form: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/enter_bug.cgi#h=bugForm|Firefox
