Have you tried "refreshing" Firefox? (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/refresh-firefox-reset-add-ons-and-se...) Please note that it will delete your add-ons and all of your settings. If you want to play flash videos on Firefox, you need to install the Adobe Flash Player plugin (https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/). Don't forget to deselect special offers from Adobe because it will install useless programs on your computer. The reason why Firefox doesn't include Flash is that Flash is an old way of handling videos which has been replaced by HTML5 videos since 2010. Adobe will soon discontinue Adobe Flash Player. Be sure to download Firefox Quantum on November 14 as it is 2x faster than your current version of Firefox and faster than Chrome on most websites or try the Beta or Nightly version (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/). It looks better too!

Refreshing Firefox {web link} is a LAST RESORT ! !

Refreshing Firefox -- easily fix most problems

If you're having problems with Firefox, refreshing it can help. The refresh feature fixes many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information like bookmarks and open tabs. Everything else, like user settings and add-ons, are removed.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
