How to change my password when I can't recall my old one.
I recently reloaded the various Mozilla/Thunderbird/ Firefox programs with help from tech support and they work great. BUT, I have Thunderbird e-mail on my I-phone and tech support changed my password on the computer but not the phone. The new password I have is not working on the phone. If I can't locate the password it seems the next step is to change it for the account and Ioad it on both. I can't find a forgot your password escape chute. Any help out there? Thanks.

You can see the stored password in Thunderbird at:
Tools|Options|Security|Passwords->Saved Passwords
But the password stored there is not always useful to you, especially with Gmail accounts.
If you do wish to change the email account's password, you will need to work out who is your email provider.

You won't have anything related to Mozilla/Thunderbird on your iPhone. You will have an email app and maybe an account manager. I'm guessing as I've never used any ios based technology.
Your email account doesn't have anything to do with Mozilla/Thunderbird either. Thunderbird is an email program and it is offered for use on Windows, Linux and Macintosh computers.
You need to 1) seek help with how to change passwords on the IPhone, and 2) you need to work out who operates and provides your email account. If you post your troubleshooting information from Thunderbird we can help you with the second part of this.
In order for us to better investigate this issue you need to add a little more non-personal information.
Please add the troubleshooting information to your post. To find the Troubleshooting information:
- Open Help (or click on three-line-icon and select Help)
- Choose Troubleshooting Information
- Use the button Copy to clipboard to select all. Do not check box "Include account names"!
- Paste this in your post.
