After pasting text from openoffice writer, Tbird increases the height of lines. So if the origin text was like this: text line1 text line2 it would be like this: text line1

text line2 and between the 2 lines, there is not another line, just the height become that heigh.

thanks

Sounds like you inadvertantly copied over a load of formatting and that is dictating the format. This is always a problem if you choose to paste something that was created in a different program which has preset formatting applied. Word Processing applications are specifically designed to have a load of formatting options etc that are not necessarilly available in something like an email client.

Suggest you try: 'Edit' > 'Paste Without Formatting'
