OneGreatFamily.com genealogy browser addon used to work before Firefox version 45.0.1
What's going on? A great addon worked on onegreatfamily.com, now it doesn't. Anyone having the same problem? I can't seem to find a resolution. I'm on windows 10, so maybe that's the problem?
The image I've attached shows what Mozilla says when I try to add on the genealogy browser.
Thanks,
Ken

Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date. To do this, go to the Plugin Check site.
Once you're there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions. If you see plugins in the list that have a yellow Update button or a red Update now button, please update these immediately.
To do so, please click each yellow or red button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps mentioned in the installation procedure.
Note: If your version of a plugin is newer then the one shown by the test page, do not worry about it. This just means the plugin you have is a recent update.
If the updater shows Unknown, this plugin is not on the testers list. To check that plugin, go to the home web site of the owner of that program.

Did show that Java and Adobe reader were out of date, but it did not correct the problem. Deinstalled old Java as they instructed, but didn't help either.
Thanks though, for the help. Ken

The image seems not to have uploaded. Can you attach it to a reply or explain what it says?
Image I tried to attach came from Firefox. It says, add on signing in Firefox ESR users add-on signing will be available ESR version 45. Add ons can change your browser settings without your consent or steal your information have become increasingly common. Some add-ons can add unwanted toolbars are buttons, change your search settings, or injected into your computer Firefox will not verify that the add-ons you install have been digitally signed by Mozilla. This article explains the add-on defining feature and how it works. Mozilla verified and find Addons that follow except the security guidelines all add-ons hosted on a dog's. Mozilla.org undergo this process in order to be signed. Add-ons hosted on other sites will need to follow the same guidelines in order to be signed by Mozilla.
It goes on and on, but this is the general gist period Firefox has not been able to respond to me on this yet.
Firefox 43+ require that extensions be signed by the Mozilla Add-ons team, whether they are hosted on the Mozilla Add-ons site itself OR on the publisher's site. It sounds as though the extension you are trying to install has not been signed.
Or maybe it's not an extension. When I look at the following page, it's is repeatedly referred to as a plug-in: http://www.onegreatfamily.com/GenealogyBrowser/Netscape.aspx
There is no signing requirement for plugins.
Does that installer work (I haven't tried it myself)?
The installer works for Firefox, but then the window comes up from Firefox saying that it DOES need to be signed before it can be used. When I try it on Internet Explorer, it ACTS like it's running (says that it has been loaded), but it's no where to be found.
OneGreatFamily.com says it has turned the problem over to it's developers two days ago, but still no response. If they DO respond, I'll be posting their response.
We'll see...
