Hello support teamster,

I have a question to ask you., Why is that every 10 to 20 minutes I got the following script on my computer?. Every time I am working or navigating or doing anything on my computer I get interrupted by the script bellow, and that happens only with Firefox browser. I mean, I really like Firefox, but if this interruptions keeps on, I will have no choice, but to remove Firefox from my computer and use another browser.

I hope, you help me avoid this issue, otherwise I won't use Firefox anymore.

Sincerely,
RB Rodriguez

That's annoying. Is the error always with a script from the video.stateofbuzz.com website, or do the errors mention a range of different sites? Are the problem sites pages that you opened, or possibly embedded content in other sites?

From the error, the script is comming in from a web page. Do you get this at one site, several? Do you know: stateofbuzz.com

Ah, here is the problem; http://video.stateofbuzz.com/

Page not found (404) Request Method: GET Request URL: http://video.stateofbuzz.com/

The error shows up with anything/any website I am working with, not just the http://video.stateofbuzz.com/.

You're seeing this error because you have DEBUG = True in your Django settings file. Change that to False, and Django will display a standard 404 page.

So how can I resolve this problem?.

Hi Raul, we have a general help article on unresponsive script errors, in case you didn't see this one before: Warning Unresponsive script - What it means and how to fix it.

Another common cause of unresponsive script errors on Windows 7 is the protected mode feature of the Flash player plugin. That feature has security benefits, but seems to have serious compatibility issues on some systems. You can disable it using the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Plugins. On the right side, find "Shockwave Flash" and click the More link. Then uncheck the box for "Enable Adobe Flash protected mode" and try that for a day to see whether it helps.

Something is calling that web address. Adware/Malware/Add-on . . . . .

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web Link} by holding down the <Shift>
(Mac=Options)
key, and then starting Firefox. Is the problem still there?

You may have ad / mal-ware. Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Run most or all of the listed malware scanners. Each works differently. If one program misses something, another may pick it up.
