The new update now displays my options in the browser window, why?
After installing the newest update, the "options" window is no longer independent of the browser window. This seems less secure and my personal information more vulnerable. I do not like the browser displaying my options and I prefer to access my information through the original independent window. Why are the "options" now a part of the browser?

hello, this is a matter of design/ux and doesn't have any impact on security, you data is as secure as before. among other reasons this is done to unify the appearance of the options across all platforms & operating systems that firefox is running on... http://www.ghacks.net/2014/03/29/firefoxs-new-tab-based-preferences-design/
