When i try and start firefox it shows the computer is thinking but then nothing happens. I tried restarting the computer, safe mode, and reinstalling firefox. None of this worked. I read a few help pages and found out it is probably a corrupt file. I logged onto my computer's guest profile and firefox worked. Is there any way i can fix my original profile. It would be really inconvienient to have to make a new profile. Thanks for any help!

It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.

Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.
