Another browser does JUT FINE??? Only Fire fox won't. I have restarted the computer, uninstalled Firefox/reinstalled still won't play! Other functions are fine JUST music and You Tube videos! I want to use Firefox BUT this is maddening please HELP!

Did You check Your Add-ons (ctrl+shift+A) and try to remove suspicius add-on and then try Youtube.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window.

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Maybe check the update history (View Recent Updates) via the Tools button on the about:addons page (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)
