I can't open my picassa webalbum - I get the message from Google accounts that there is a problem with the options for cookies - there was no problem when I used Internet Explorer as my browser - I changed to Firefox to avoid the aggressive advertising. I have accepted cookies from sites, and always from third-party cookies until they expire. Firefox is still very new to me and I must admit that there is a lot, I don't understand ! your help will be very much appreciated !

hello, please try to reset firefox and see if this can address the issue...

Clear the cache and the cookies from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

If clearing cookies doesn't work then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies is corrupted.

Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

You can inspect and manage the permissions for all domains on the about:permissions page or for the domain in the currently selected tab by clicking the "Site Identity Button" (globe/padlock) on the location bar and "More Information" to open "Page Info" and go to the Permissions tab.
